A microscopic droplet falls in the wake of main drop
It is seen that the thin neck fluctuates and is ready to break into some parts. Finally, on the third photo we see one droplet. Sometimes it may be two or three such droplets. The photo was taken by a camera Nikon cp880. Details are easy visible when you see a bunch of the drops from the shower.
